| My 90S4 auto which I now owned for 12 months had a 140000 major service which was carried out by Con Raftos Euro Motors at Botany. All the usual suspects required attention i.e. replace cam belt,rollers, water pump,engine mounts,break pads, fit upmarket fuel line at front of motor ( supplied by me) replace audio system with tuner and cd only ( can you buy tapes anymore?) replace engine sump gasket, service auto and other odds and ends. At all times during the service Con was in touch to let me know of progress and seek authorisation to carry out work which he identified as essential. He runs a busy workshop and the majority of cars in it were Porsche. He has a huge opinion of our cars and naturally did his traineeship on Porsche. I had the use of a loan car during the week he had mine. As the car was purchased from a dealer ( and not via the Landshark site and therefore not subject to extra high quality care) I fully expected the work that was carried out.In any event a lot of the work would have been needed irrespective of where it was purchased.. Con said the vehicle is an excellent example of the marque and I will have many years of enjoyable motoring. The "jack & jill" was a tad under $6K. I will be a repeat customer. |
